1. Action Planning
- Colin outlined the progress being made on speakers, event and funding.
SDNPA funding of £2k offered and bid to be submitted to CDC for additional £2k . Tom quieried whether that the cost of room hire to plan for the room be included and CRM to action. ( Post meeting note – if we get CDC funding it will be and this should pay the room hire for Sept, Oct and Nov). - We are aiming for 120 guests, food to be provided by UK Harvest £10/head.
Coffees, teas and biscuits to be available. Conference to be free but admin charge of £5 to be made to dissuade “no shows.” - Details of conference including who are partners are will be available on the Transition Town Chichester website: post meeting note – see link –

- Susie via Tom to make 2012/14 Food Project files available by email link to Google Drive and Susi will be following up a few contacts to see if there is any update to the info.
- To share the load – these are the following project roles for the conference:
- Funding, overall project management – Colin
- IT incl ticketing, website and venue presentation/mics etc – Tom
- Publicity, printing etc Cate
- Briefing volunteers, arranging cover on the day – Jackie
- Reviewing background material – Susi
- Everyone else – volunteer to help on the day please.
2. Climate Targets missed. Dave Borlace video. Notable that emphasis switching from targets to accelerating electrification. Post meeting note – apparently Trump action on Hormuz Strait has boosted EV sales and there is now evidence of world wide sales of petrol and diesel decreasing – Is he secretly deep green?
