Biodiversity and Pollinator group

The Biodiversity and Pollinator group aims to develop and to action as effectively as possible, plans for increasing and enhancing biodiversity in urban areas of Chichester.

Public verges, disused land and Municipal Parks are the immediate areas of concern. More favourable mowing regimes, more pollinator considerate planting and the introduction of wild flower areas wherever possible, working in cooperation with the Council, are key approaches.
